The Bahamas does not have a licensure system. However, I am preparing to take the NCE to have some sort of certification for counselling.

Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to attend conferences in the United States. However, there were three local conferences that I attended that contributed to my professional development on the island.
a. January 14th, 2020 – Return to Happiness Training
(After our island experienced the worst hurricane in the history of The Bahamas, a non-profit organization called Israid visited and hosted a 2-day training designed to provide short stress therapeutic assistance ).
b. November 2nd & 3rd, 2023 – Hope Conference
c. Critical Incident Training
5. Manuscript submitted for publication
The manuscript “Supporting International Doctoral Students in CES Programs” was submitted to two different journals.
a. International Journal of Counseling
